Clean & Green Chicago will be held this Saturday, April 20th. Through this popular volunteer clean-up program, 19th Ward residents, civic associations and community groups can register to borrow tools to clean and bag debris from local parks, schools, Dan Ryan Woods and other public spaces. The Department of Streets & Sanitation will then coordinate special debris pickups for cleaned areas. To register a group, please contact Maureen at (773) 238-8766 or maureen@the19thward.com.
