CHICAGO BLACK VIOLENCE - 2 shot, 1 fatally, on Far South Side

Two men were shot, one fatally, in the West Pullman neighborhood this evening, authorities said.
A 37-year-old man was dead on the scene in the 12000 block of South Normal Avenue following the shooting just before 8:30 p.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala. A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg, Zala said.
The second man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department's media office.
