A 22-year-old northwest suburban man has been charged with burglarizing three of his neighbors' homes and was ordered held on $80,000 bail.
About 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a burglary in the 10000 block of Linda Lane in Maine Township where someone forced open the door and took several items from a home, according to a Cook County Sheriff's Office press release.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood and found a person who said a man named "Renzo" was in the area at the time of the burglary, the release said.
An investigation revealed that "Renzo" was Davon Miller, who lives on the 9900 block of Linda Lane. Miller also is known as Lorenzo Miller, the release said.
Sheriffs located Miller, questioned him about the burglary and he admitted his involvement. He also said he was involved in two other earlier burglaries on nearby Holly Lane, the release said.
Miller was charged Friday with felony burglary and his bail Saturday was set at $80,000.
