Police have arrested a 24-year-old man accused of fondling several young girls in the Southwest Side's Chicago Lawn police district.
Valentin Lasco, of the 4600 block of South Kedzie Avenue, is charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 13, four counts of aggravated battery in a public place, and one count of attempted aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 13.
Police said the alleged fondling incidents took place between Feb. 24 and April 6. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about similar incidents to contact the Special Investigations Unit at (312) 492-3845.
Lasco is expected to appear in bond court Tuesday.
