Many ways to die in life but here is one I never thought of - Randy L. Sayler dies after being smashed by a log cabin he was jacking up

Sunday, 18 August 2013

A 45-year-old Big Lake, Minn., man died Saturday after getting trapped underneath a cabin near Hibbing.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reported that Randy L. Sayler was one of several people using jacks to make a cabin level in the 1300 block of Lavell Road in Lavell Township, about 15 miles southeast of Hibbing, at about 5:20 p.m. when a beam collapsed, trapping Sayler underneath the structure.
An arriving officer was able to extricate Sayler by cutting a hole in the floor of the cabin, but he died at the scene.
In addition to the sheriff's office, other agencies responding to the scene included the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Hibbing Fire Department and Ambulance, Meadowlands Ambulance and the McDavitt Fire Department.
