Chicago Police: 1 killed, 4 injured in Austin neighborhood squad car crash

One person was killed and four people — including two police officers — were injured in a crash involving a squad car late Friday in the West Side Austin neighborhood, police said.
Neither police officer involved in the crash suffered any life-threatening injuries, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
The squad car and another vehicle crashed about 11:30 p.m. near Harrison Street and Laramie Avenue, authorities said.
One person was dead at the scene, according to Fire Media Affairs
Two other people were critically hurt in the crash, and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, according to Fire Media Affairs. The two officers were taken to Stroger Hospital.
