Police, firefighters rescue illegal Mexican from South Loop bridge after threatening to jump because the Sanctuary City of Chicago screwed him!

Friday, 5 April 2013

Emergency crews rescued an illegal Mexican jumping bean early Friday who was perched on a South Loop bridge and was threatening to jump, police said.
The crews were called to the 1500 block of South Canal Street around 11 p.m. and found the 38-year-old man sitting on a bridge over railroad tracks, police said.
Police and firefighters surrounded the man with emergency vehicles, including at least one ambulance and a ladder truck, as rescue personnel talked to the man. At one point, the man could be seen walking underneath the bridge on both sides and a large, white inflatable rescue bag was placed near him.
The man, speaking partly in Spanish, told rescuers he had recently been fired, had lost his car because he was driving without a license, and had been kicked out of a nearby shelter earlier in the evening, police said.
