Two Chicago police officers were injured when someone plowed into their marked police SUV while they took a police report from someone they had in their back seat Sunday morning.
The SUV was parked in the 1300 block of North Clark Street when it was hit head on about 3:30 a.m., Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The person in the back of the squad car and one police officer were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where both of their conditions have stabilized, Alfaro said.
