EB-5 Regional Center FAQ: how to approach Chinese wealth management market?

(By Brian Su) Based on recent Chinese wealth survey reports that over 70% high net worth individuals in China have been considering overseas investment and immigration opportunities. In the last twenty years, most of Chinese clients rely on the emigration industry (exit entry services providers) for international information and services. Now more and more Chinese consumers are aware of the concept of "Wealth Management" and begin to utilize such services provided by wealth management firms, investment advisory firms, international law firms and accounting and taxation advisory firms.  I see this a great opportunity for many EB-5 project developers and EB-5 regional centers to explore, especially for smaller EB-5 investment offerings and direct EB-5 projects which cannot afford paying big money to emigration brokers In my July 25 Chicago workshop The Accelerated EB-5 Capital Raising Process and August 6 St. Louis workshop Developing EB-5 Business Strategies with China's Wealth Management Industry, I will discuss the models and issues for wealth advisors and EB-5 developers approaching the Chinese wealth management market.
