The recent name change of the Beijing Exit-Entry Administration (北京公安局出入境管理处an office of the Municipal Public Security Bureau) to Beijing Exit-Entry Administration General Corps (出入境管理总队) has reflected its role change from general management and administration to an active enforcement role.
