UPDATED OBIT/VISITATION for Illinois State trooper James Sauter - Note changes please - Visitation will now be at Moraine Valley Church

James Michael Sauter tragically lost his life in the line of duty on March 29th while serving as an Illinois State Trooper. James was the Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Cowan); Cherished son of Donald and Eileen (nee Giuffre); Loving brother of Matthew; Dearly loved grandson of MaryLou Sauter; Dear son-in-law of Robert and Christine Cowan; Cherished brother-in-law of Rebecca (Anthony) Ferraro;Loved nephew of Kathleen (Gary) Stevens, Patricia Duffin, Maureen (Robert) Curran, and Anne (Paul) Oles; James will also be dearly missed by his Illinois State Police family and many other beloved relatives and friends.Member of Illinois Fraternal Order of Police. 

Visitation Monday, April 1st from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights. Funeral Services Tuesday 11:00 am at Moraine Valley Church. Interment will be private.
