Pension Legislation Alert President Shields and the Board of Directors are urging all FOP members and FOP family members to reach out to their legislators and tell them to vote NO on Senate Bill 1 and Senate Bill 1 - House Amendment 1. While these bills currently do not include language that would affect any Lodge #7 member, we need to unite with our Illinois Union Brothers and Sisters in the fight to protect all Illinois public pensions. This is the first in many battles that could have an impact on OUR Pensions if this legislation is passed. We must let our legislators know that we are a powerful voting bloc that will be heard.
