Waynesville, Indiana: 4 Murdered in Home

Indiana authorities are investigating the deaths of three men and one woman whose bodies were found with gunshot wounds in a home in Waynesville, Indiana, late on Saturday, officials told local media. A relative of one of the victims found the bodies late Saturday and called 911, Bartholomew County Sheriff Mark Gorbett said at an early morning press conference

Investigators entered the home with boxes early Sunday to collect evidence, Reverend Gary Carroll of the Mercy Missionary Baptist Church, located near the scene of the home where the bodies were found, told The Republic, a newspaper in Columbus, Indiana.


A spokesman at Gorbett's office declined to confirm the deaths, saying a news conference was scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT at the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department in Columbus, Indiana.
