Police: Man in Uptown throws bottles of urine, feces at Chicago Police Officers
A man in Uptown threw bottles of urine and feces at police officers trying to move him from a hallway where he was sleeping Wednesday night, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Wilson and Broadway avenues about 9:40 p.m. because someone reported a "criminal trespass in progress," Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
Police found a 37-year-old man sleeping in a hallway and he didn't want to leave, Gaines said. The man threw the bottles at officers but was taken into custody.
The officers were not injured, police said. Charges are pending against the 37-year-old.
