California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development holds EB-5 conference call

Please join the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) for a conference call on Monday, May 6th to discuss updates to the EB5 program which are designed to increase investment opportunities, as well as the updated 2012 Employment Development Department (EDD) unemployment data for standard TEA designations.

EDD is conducting a final review of the updated unemployment data which will apply to all TEA certifications from May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014. The updated data will be available on the GOBiz EB5 webpage on Monday, May 6th. In addition, GO-Biz is implementing updates to the program to allow for a limited Special TEA certification process that would supplement the existing standard eligible TEA designations and provide more flexibility to the program.
