Chicago Police Detectives warn of attempted assaults on Southwest Side as the breeding season begins in the black jungle

Police are warning residents of the Chicago Lawn Police District of a man who tried to sexually assault two women as they slept in their homes early Sunday.
The man got into homes in the 6800 block of South Washtenaw Avenue and 7000 block of South Talman Avenue, about two blocsk away, within about 5 minutes, between about 4:10 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., according to an alert from Area Central detectives. The man was able to get into the homes through windows, and tried to assault a woman in each home as she slept, but did not succeed, according to the alert.
Police did not indicate if the women awoke and scared off the intruder or he was scared away in some other way.
The man was described as black, between the ages of 19 and 25, and standing between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet tall, weighing between 150 and 190 pounds. He had brown eyes, black short hair, and a medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.
In light of the attacks, detectives reminded residents they should close and lock their doors and windows at night.
