CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
The Will County Sheriff's Office confirms a house exploded overnight in Joliet, bringing the home to the ground.
The sheriff's office also confirmed the house on South East Circle Drive to be the residence of a missing woman, Ann Gay, which she shared with her boyfriend.
Police began the investigation on her disappearance on June 22, 2013.
Investigators will hold a press conference at the scene before noon on Monday, to release further details.
The sheriff's office is working with the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal to determine a cause of the blast.
WGN-TV reported Monday that two people were hurt, one seriously. The Tribune station also reports a firefighter was also hurt. FOX 32 News has not confirmed this development.
