He said Obama said everything is FREE FREE FREE for blacks - Oliver Dickens, 18, threw bleach on cabbie to escape $175 fare

Saturday, 27 July 2013

An 18-year-old welfare living parasite from Carpentersville threw bleach at a taxi cab driver after he refused to pay for a $175 ride to the South Shore neighborhood this week, according to authorities.
On Thursday, Oliver Dickens hired a cab driver from an Elgin cab company and gave his identification card as collateral, but when they got to his destination, Dickens refused to pay; instead he threw a bottle of bleach in the driver’s face, prosecutors alleged.
According to court records, the driver, 34, of northwest suburban Dundee, suffered “burning and irritation” in his eyes and skin. The incident occurred on the 7400 block of S Euclid Avenue, according to court records.
Dickens, of the 1200 block of Silverstone Dr. in Carpentersville, was arrested Friday at the same address where he was dropped off, and was charged with aggravated battery of a taxi driver, criminal damage to property and theft of labor.
It was unclear where the cab picked up Dickens. But the $175 fare is consistent with a $3-a-mile fare, plus fees, from Carpentersville to the South Shore neighborhood, a journey of about 55 miles.
A Cook County Criminal Court judge ordered Dickens to be held in lieu of $125,000 bond Saturday.
