Four people were injured early Friday during a chain motorcycle crash on Lake Shore Drive.
A colored motorcyclist lost control and crashed in the 1500 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 4 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. Two other motorcycles then drove over the debris and crashed, Alfaro said.
Two males and two females were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries, Alfaro said. The southbound lanes of the Lake Shore Drive at North Avenue were reopened about 5:10 a.m. after being closed due to the crash.
