Oscar Pimentel, 47, of Berwyn, IL was turned into Mexican Sausage in fatal workplace accident in Elk Grove Village

A Berwyn man was crushed to death in a workplace accident in Elk Grove Village, authorities announced today.

Oscar Pimentel, 47, died Tuesday from multiple crushing injuries and falling heavy objects, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Pimentel was employed by M.S. International at the surface manufacturer’s flooring, countertop and landscaping facility at 1441 Jarvis Ave. in Elk Grove Village, where the fatal accident occurred. A company representative confirmed Pimentel worked there but declined further comment.
