When it rains it pours for Food Network host Paula Deen.
Facing public scrutiny over concealing her diabetes for years while showcasing high fat content foods on her show, the 65 year old “Southern Belle of Butter” has now been slapped with a lawsuit.
A former employee of Paula Deen Enterprises has filed suit Monday not only against Deen, but her brother Earl W. "Bubba" Hiers, as well.
The lawsuit, obtained by Radaronline, states Lisa T. Jackson, was subjected to violent behavior by Bubba Hiers that included sexual harassment and emotional distress of Jackson and other female employees, and assault and battery. The complaint also states Hiers acted in a sexually degrading manner, including forcibly kissing Jackson on her cheek and spitting at her.
Jackson’s attorneys state the conduct was not only offensive, but physically threatening and universally humiliating that the staff at Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House in Savannah, Georgia lived in fear of Bubba Hiers.
A shocking racial epithet against President Obama is just one of the many explosive allegations in the bombshell lawsuit.
Among the stunning allegations in the suit, Uncle Bubba's restaurant manager and a vendor, Bubba Hiers, stated in Jackson’s presence that “they should send President Obama to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, so he could n***er-rig it."
The lawsuit also claims that Deen herself used the “N”- word in front of employees.
