The man who threw a little more drama in the Detroit mayoral race says he's been carjacked.
Barber-turned-mayoral candidate Mike Dugeon said he found himself up against carjackers Wednesday night at a liquor store at Wyoming and Eaton streets.
The carjacking was caught on surveillance cameras.
In the video obtained by Local 4, two armed men can be seen approaching Dugeon in the parking lot. Dugeon is forced out of his car and backs away with his hands in the air.
"I am like whoa man you ain't gotta do this. Don't do this man," said Dugeon.
Dugeon gave the robbers his watch and walked back toward the store; the men follow him briefly before running back to the car.
Dugeon who was also armed came back out of the store, but the men drove off in his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.
