A Hoffman Estates man has been charged with recording video under a young girl's skirt at a Wal-Mart in Palatine, prosecutors said today.

Juan Lara-Ramirez, 30, was arrested Friday after filming an 8-year-old girl at the store, 1555 N. Rand Road, according to court records.

He was charged with unauthorized video recording and live video transmission, prosecutors said today in Cook County Bond Court.

Lara-Ramirez, of the 700 block of North Salem Drive in Hoffman Estates, was ordered held in lieu of $70,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court again Tuesday.
