INDIANA: Two 18-year-olds will be charged with killing an elderly couple, according to the Harrison County, Ind., sheriff.
Authorities identified the couple as Asenath Arnold and Gary Henderson.
"An elderly couple were beaten and stabbed to death for money," said Harrison County Sheriff Rod Seelye.
New details emerged Sunday afternoon about what the couple suffered inside their Harrison county home.
"Ms. Arnold died of blunt force trauma, she was beaten to death. Mr. Henderson died of sharp force trauma, he was stabbed to death," said Seelye.
It happened sometime in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The two victims were discovered around 11 a.m. by a family friend.
As crime scene units made it to the scene, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office was tipped off by police a county over that they had two suspects behind bars on unrelated charges.
"Those individuals are Kevin Schuler, 18, and Austin Scott, 18, they are currently housed in the Floyd County Jail on unrelated charges," said Seelye.
Investigators said robbery appears to be their motive.
