A man who state police say jumped from the top of Hubbard's Cave and landed in the southbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway near Grand Avenue has died this morning, authorities said.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at 10:57 a.m. at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The man appeared to be in his 30s and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the medical examiner's office .
The man jumped from Hubbard's Cave near Metra railroad tracks about 10 a.m., said Illinois State Police Trooper Elizabeth Nanai.
