A 64-year-old woman was found dead today with neck trauma in her Roseland neighborhood home on Chicago's Far South Side, authorities said.
Aurelia Wilborn was pronounced dead at the scene on the 10800 block of South Calumet Avenue at 10:35 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
She appeared to have been stabbed in the neck, but a final cause of death will have to await an autopsy scheduled for Saturday.
Police are conducting a death investigation, according to an officer at News Affairs. No other details were being released at this time.
