Life sentence for BLACK COMCAST CABLE TV man guilty of killing WHITE woman during service call - He still faces a second trial for another WHITE WOMAN he killed during a service call.

A former cable repairman who was convicted of raping and killing a woman after gaining entry to her Chicago home on a service call was sentenced today to life in prison.

Anthony Triplett, who still faces trial for the rape and murder of a second woman, wiped tears from his eyes as he denied wrongdoing before Cook County Judge Kevin Sheehan imposed the maximum sentence possible.

“I’m not a murderer, I’m not a rapist,” said Triplett, who was a technician for Premier Cable Communication, a Comcast subcontractor. “I don’t hurt women. I never have, I never will.”
Assistant State’s Attorney Brian Sexton said Triplett’s crimes “represent every woman’s nightmare.”
