The body of a man, described as in his 20s was pulled from a lagoon in Riis Park this afternooon on the city's Northwest Side.
About 4:30 p.m., police were alerted to someone in a lagoon located on the 6100 block of West Fullerton Avenue, said Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.
As of 5 p.m., the Marine Unit was responding to the lagoon where a man was reportedly in the water.
As of 6:50 p.m., police confirmed the man was deceased and said the incident was now a death investigation.
