CHICAGO BLACK VIOLENCE NOT SLOWING DOWN - 9 wounded in separate city shootings

At least nine people people were wounded Wednesday in separate attacks on the city's West and South sides, officials said.
The latest shooting happened about 11:05 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Paulina Street in they city's Heart of Chicago neighborhood, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
Someone inside a dark-colored vehicle opened fire hitting the victim, a 17-year-old boy, in the abdomen, said Gaines. Someone took him to University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago but his condition was not yet known, according to Gaines.
