Today's handout comes after FEMA announced that the government will reimburse those who lost items when their basements flooded after the recent heavy rainstorms. Those standing in line do not prove that they lost anything in the storms nor do they have to prove that they even have a basement. They just have to make a claim. Compare this were FEMA refuses to assist those in Texas where numerous people lost their lives, including many first responders. I guess the difference is Texas is a red state and Illinois is a welfare state!
