Jackson, who has been treated for bipolar disorder, said the sentencing memorandum his lawyers are poised to file also will contain information about the medical condition of a family member. The identity of the Jackson relative was not disclosed.
In his motion, Jackson said two medical professionals would write letters about his condition. His lawyers said releasing them in full would "disclose unnecessarily the defendant's and his family member's medical information, diagnoses and treatment to the public."
