Motorcyclist fails to see a house and slams into it in Oak Lawn - Motorcyclist dies, House OK

A motorcyclist died after slamming into a house in southwest suburban Oak Lawn this morning, authorities said.

The crash happened about 3:20 a.m. in the 10500 block South Lavergne Avenue, Oak Lawn police said.

The rider died at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
