Emergency crews were called back to the scene of a Southwest Side fire Thursday morning after the smoldering rubble of a warehouse reignited.
Chicago Fire Department spokesman Will Knight reported that crews had been redispatched to the scene of the four-alarm warehouse fire in the 3700 block of South California Avenue about 6 a.m.
The “major” fire in the warehouse, which was apparently full of wooden pallets, was reported extinguished about 1:20 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.
