Fraternal Order of Police Chicago Lodge #7 Current Update April 24, 2013 Annual Weapons Qualification Management and Labor Affairs notified the Lodge late this afternoon that members who have not yet completed the annual weapon qualification must do so by April 30, 2013. There will not be a make up session. Area ranges in the North, Central, and South Detective Bureaus will be open from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm to accommodate those Officers who have not completed the qualification process.

Survey - 2012 Ethics Late Fee The Board of Ethics forced several of our members to pay a $20.00 late fee when they filed their 2012 City of Chicago Ethics Statement of Financial Interests. Lodge representatives appeared at the Board of Ethics on behalf of these members to appeal the Board's decision. The appeal was denied. Any Officer who filed a 2012 City of Chicago Ethics Statement of Financial Interests and was required to pay a $20.00 late fee should complete the FOP Survey to be included in any actions that may recoup their $20.00 late fee. This survey should be completed even if you have already contact the Lodge. This survey must be completed by April 26, 2013. Please forward this information to anyone who may have been affected by the Ethics Board decision.
