(By Brian Su) I have been approached frequently by EB-5 project clients on how to make their projects stand out. Here are some common sense tips:
1) I have a good EB-5 project, but there are over a dozen of projects competing with mine in the market, how can my project stand out?
Brian Su: Good marketing is very important in addition to providing investors with a safe and solid investment offering. Without proper marketing strategies and well-prepared materials in place, no matter what kind project you may have, it will be harder to get your message delivered to emigration agents and investors.
2) I am working on a project now, but not sure if I am doing alright, how can I find out if I am on the right track?
Brian Su: you need to discuss the project to the right people; find out if your project would be a good fit for the EB-5 market and make sure you are doing the right thing from the very beginning.
3) I am not sure if my project should go with EB-5 regional center program or direct EB-5?
Brian Su: if the project is not too big and produces enough jobs, you may consider direct EB-5 option, as most of the projects are with EB-5 regional center program, your direct EB-5 project may find its own niche. With proper planning, a direct EB-5 project can also win the market quickly.
