Atlanta police arrested brothers Montez Thompkins, 21 (pictured left), and Jeremy Jemell Thompkins, 23 (pictured right) on Wednesday, 6 months after the Nov. 3 fatal shooting of 2-year-old Ty-Teyanna Motley and charged them with her murder, reports the AJC.com.
Little Ty-Teyanna was asleep in her bed with her 1-year-old brother, Isaiah, and her grandmother at around 1:40 a.m., when bullets came flying through the front door of their family’s home. Ty-Teyanna was killed and Isaiah was rushed to a local hospital in stable but critical condition.
“Someone must know something,” the children’s grandfather, Tommy Wood, told The AJC at the time. “They need to find out who did this to this baby.”
